This is my fourth summer assignment. I choose to do the bathroom counter prompt. I used charcoal, watercolor, and watercolor paper. Im not sure of the dimensions because I can't find my ruler, but I can say that is a little bit smaller than a sheet of notebook paper. I really had trouble making highlights to make the cup look like glass.
I really like the way that the cup looks (especially the bathroom-y feel that the watercolor gives), but I think that you could spend more time on the forms of the tiles.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the media you've chosen as well as the pop of color. I agree agree with Laney on the form of the tiles. I also think the ellipses in the cup could use a bit of work and you could vary your line width a bit more throughout. I like how think you've drawn the toothbrushes, it really draws your eye to it; I'd like to see more of that throughout.
