This year in AP art my concentration will be a play on my life. Throughout the year I will create pieces that hit on the different stages in my life. Each piece will show one or more people from my life, and each person will have an animal head instead of a human head. every time I reuse the person in my future pieces I will use the same type of animal for that person in order to create a story throughout the concentration.
I like this piece mostly because it's not the same thing you always do. You've done this medium before, and similar compositions, but almost everything else is completely different from your norm. You rarely use a lot of warm colors, or butterflies.
I also like that you went with your instincts on how to apply the roses, and I think that it turned out looking pretty good. I'm a little disappointed that you used printed images instead of drawing it out yourself, because I think that you should show off some drawing skills in your pieces.
