This year in AP art my concentration will be a play on my life. Throughout the year I will create pieces that hit on the different stages in my life. Each piece will show one or more people from my life, and each person will have an animal head instead of a human head. every time I reuse the person in my future pieces I will use the same type of animal for that person in order to create a story throughout the concentration.

I chose the eggs in a towel prompt for my second summer piece. It was done with pencil and charcoal on an 8x11 piece of drawing paper. I tried to show the roughness of the towel, but I'm not sure that I like the way I approached it.
You did a great job at describing the smooth surface quality of the eggs. The towel feels a bit unfinished. If you continued to work your values I think the texture of the towel would pop. This may also blend in the outline of the eggs and help unify the surfaces. Good job so far!
